Sydney becomes a Bat Mitzvah | Temple Beth Shalom Needham + The Verve Natick
We started our morning at Temple Beth Shalom in Needham where Sydney's service was held. I had met the Oriel family before and have even photographed friends of theirs events, so I already knew they were a good time, and they were even more fun than I could have imagined. This little firecracker showed up with a broken leg, but not a broken spirit! She did not let that blinged out boot stop her from having the time of her life and It did not slow her down for a second on the dance floor. It is always so much fun to work with a kid who just loves to "turn it on", and that is Sydney all day long. She made sure to tell me when arriving that she "LOOOVEEES PICTURES"! Her siblings Alexa and Jake were the most adorable things ever and made sure to hop into as many pictures as possible.

Every photographer has their favorite places to shoot. For me, one of those places is hands down The Oceanview Of Nahant. I grew up on the North Shore and spent summers in Nahant as a kid playing on the local beaches and exploring Bailey's Hill located right next to the Oceanview. I love going back whenever I have the opportunity! I've shot over 20 weddings at this property over the past few years and wanted to showcase the multiple photo-ops available to you. As well as my overall experience being a vendor at this gorgeous venue.

Charlie's Bar Mitzvah Temple Israel Boston
This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Charlie's Bar Mitzvah at the beautiful Temple Israel Boston. When I first spoke with Charlie's mom Barb, she told me the story of how a couple of years ago her other son Max's Bar Mitzvah party happened to get snowed out which made the day very difficult. I explained what we would do in that situation, and we both laughed thinking "what are the chances of that happening again!" Well, mother nature seems to have a sense of humor and decided to let it snow for Charlie's Bar Mitzvah as well. Lucky for us, it happened to be just enough to create a beautiful winter wonderland feel but still allowed for their guest to make it!
